You may or may not have noticed that the site has been down for a few weeks. This is due to a few different things. Firstly is my lack of time due to me having a new born baby to look after now! She is now 7 weeks old, so that explains those 7 weeks ;)

The second reason is that we have had to change servers in order to continue running the site. I was in the process of migrating the site in November, but for one reason or another never managed to finish it before my daughter was born. It still isn't 100% complete, but good things take time :P

The reason for the server migration was that the hosting costs were just becoming too much, I was paying in euros, and it was fine while the UK >> Euro exchange rate was good, but now it is effectively twice the price that it was when I first took up the hosting deal... Anyway, I am very lucky that my good friend Access has allowed me to use his server space to host The Joystick fore the foreseeable future.

I would say to expect some changes in the future, but I will not be giving any true time frame to work from though! I am also aware that some games are not downloading. If there is a particular game that you would like me to get online, please e-mail me and let me know. See you again soon!

I have just completed my final year project! It is an amazing feeling. So just a couple more weeks of exams and an assignment and I will be completely finished of academic study for the foreseeable future!! Maybe you will even see a huge change around here? Who knows... ;)

Hi guys, I am still alive. Just finishing up uni for the next 5 or 6 weeks, and then I shall be free from the shackles of education! I might have time to work on the site more too, once all of this uni business is over... I am considering the future of the site. I want it to continue, but I am not sure exactly in what capacity it will exist. Stay tuned ;)

I have just launched my new project. After a long period of nothingness, I have decided to see if I can kick start some life and motivation into this start, and decided to do this in the form of a Wiki. I'm sure all of you have visited various wiki sites, such as Wikipedia. I have decided that I want to make a comprehensive wiki-style site filled with content to do with games and their systems, with all kinds of things on there. At the moment it is still in the (very) early stages, as I have only been working on it for a day or so. Please come on over and have a look at the wiki, and sign up and add some content if you so desire :)

I have just reactivated the download for Discworld 2. It is near enough a gig download... crazy huh? Well, I love you guys so much that I just had to put it up (plus I have been saying over email that I would for months now :D)

So, we now seem to have sorted out the issue with the server so I should be adding some games from now on... If I get the time of course :D
